About The 1998 Umbrella Board of Directors
September 23, 1998, is a day the world will never forget. A once-normal city begins to descend into a crisis the world has never seen before: a zombie outbreak. It begins when Umbrella scientist Dr. William Birkin is assassinated and, as a result, the T-Virus was leaked into the city sewers and water supply. The T-Virus was initially developed as a bioweapon by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella, but that development came with dire consequences.
The outbreak will grow progressively worse as the days continue, ultimately culminating in the destruction of the city via nuke on October 1st. Delegates are tasked with addressing crises across the city as they arise, including issues ranging from the massive crocodiles in the sewers to secret underground labs. However, once the delegates finally triumph and defeat the zombie infection, they’re now tasked with rebuilding a decimated city, ravaged beyond recognition. How will you survive a week of the living dead?

As your Director, he looks forward to seeing fruitful debate and how delegates tackle a classic horror trope, a zombie apocalypse. He’s excited to see collaboration and how you all attempt to tackle such a herculean task through MUN. He looks forward to meeting you all at 305MUN IV and hearing all your wonderful solutions.
