Jack Suarez Kimmel (he/him) is a sophomore from Fort. Lauderdale double-majoring in Music with a concentration in electric guitar, and International Relations. He has been active in Model UN since his freshman year of high school, and this year will be his second year in Miami Model UN.

Outside of MUN, Jack can be found playing shows throughout the Miami area with his band Eckhart (@eckhart305), doing photography, teaching guitar lessons, going to as many local shows as possible, and painfully rooting for his beloved New York Mets (this year is our year!) Jack is also an avid reader, vinyl record collector, and thrift store connoisseur, much to the dismay of his bank account.

As the director general for 305MUN IV, Jack can’t wait to see all the amazing work that will come from this year’s delegates. His email is always open for questions or concerns regarding the conference, feel free to reach out! Jsk243@miami.edu

Everett Little

Under-Secretary-General of Crisis Committees

Everett Little (He/Him) is a second-year student at the University of Miami majoring in Political Science and International Relations. He currently serves as the USG of Crisis and is excited to welcome delegates to what promises to be a challenging, fast-paced, and memorable conference.

Everett’s academic interests are rooted in a deep appreciation for history, particularly the ways in which past events, power struggles, and decision-making continue to shape the modern world. He believes crisis committees provide a unique opportunity for delegates to engage with history as active participants, navigating leadership, diplomacy, and strategy under pressure.

He has been involved in Model United Nations since high school and currently serves as Social Chair for UM’s MUN team. Everett competed in his first collegiate conference at VICS 2025, where he earned an Outstanding Delegate award, and has since developed a strong passion for crisis-style committees that reward creativity, adaptability, and decisive action. He has also since competed at NCSC, BARMUN, and MCMUN.

Outside of MUN, Everett serves as the Philanthropy Chair of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, where he organizes service initiatives regarding veterans, strengthening his leadership and collaboration skills. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and pickleball, reading history and political theory, and listening to music.

As the USG of Crisis, Everett looks forward to seeing the creativity, strategy, and leadership that delegates will bring to committee this year. For any questions or assistance, please contact him at ejl182@miami.edu.

The Executive Team

Maggie Mai (She/Her) is currently a freshman from Brooklyn, New York who's double majoring in Marketing and Finance at the University of Miami and double minoring in Psychology and AI for Business Tech. She recently picked up an interest in MUN for the socials and to improve her public speaking skills. Her first ever experience was co-chairing for the "Too Big to Fail" (Goldman Sachs) crisis committee and she LOVES to meet new people.

Some hobbies she enjoys during her "free time" would be singing, playing tennis, journaling, planning, and booking up her schedule. Fun fact: she's trying to get her real estate license as of March 2026! (Start praying for her sanity, she'll need it.)

Looking forward to working with everyone on 305MUN IV!! <3

Rafael Gonzalez-Acosta

Under-Secretary-General of Outreach and Philanthropy

Rafael Gonzalez-Acosta (he/him) is a fourth-year student at the University of Miami originally from Orlando, FL. He is majoring in Biomedical Engineering with plans to soon attend medical school. While he did not have experience with Model UN in high school, he has been an active and committed member of the UM team since his freshman year. Having now attended over 10 conferences on the competitive circuit, Rafael has developed an unbridled love for this activity’s ability to foster dynamic and collaborative debate. He has staffed multiple conferences hosted by UM, including every iteration of 305MUN since its revival. Beginning as a logistics staffer at 305MUN I, he then served as Co-Chair of “The Marineford War: Whitebeard Pirates vs. Marine Headquarters” at 305MUN II and Chair of “Didn’t Pon-see That Coming: Albanian Civil Unrest, 1997” at last year’s 305MUN III. He is also heavily involved in UM’s high school conference, having served on the secretariat as both Under-Secretary-General of Crisis Committees for MICSUN XII and Director General for last year’s MICSUN XIII.

Outside of MUN, he is involved all across campus. Whether in neurotechnology research, student government, or start-up accelerators, he is always staying busy with something. He loves trying new foods, playing the piano, and dominating in any sport with a racket involved.

Rafael is unfathomably excited to be your Under-Secretary-General of Outreach for 305MUN IV as philanthropy and community sponsorships are at the heart of every conference on the circuit. He looks forward to seeing the creative solutions you conjure and the diplomatic delegates you embody. If you have any questions, concerns, or just a comment, do not hesitate to reach out to him at rag287@miami.edu

Taleen El-Hassan

Under-Secretary-General of Registration & Delegate Affairs

Taleen El-Hassan (she/her) is a rising second-year student in the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School pursuing a BSBA in Quantitative Economics. She grew up in a small country in the Middle East called Kuwait, but is ethnically from the Levant region, so being “international” is something she’s used to. She began her Model UN career in high school since the club was first introduced in 2022, and she’ll now be entering her third semester as part of Miami’s Model UN team. Previous committees she has staffed include 305MUN III’s "Not Today, Satan: World of Wonder Board of Directors, 2030,” MICSUN XIII’s Ad-Hoc of the Secretary General, and MDMUN 2026.

Outside of MUN, Taleen’s involved in several organizations on UM’s campus, including UThrift (UM’s thrift pop-up!), the Arab Student Union, the Muslim Students at UM, the National Organization for Women at UM, and the Economics Club! She also works part-time with UM’s Law School. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, photography, going for walks, and exploring everything Miami has to offer. Because she’s enthusiastic about economics, politics, and international relations, she reads and does as much as she can to keep up with historical and current events. Her favorite artist is Tame Impala and she can’t stop re-watching Attack on Titan.

As the USG of Registration & Delegate Affairs, Taleen’s happy to respond to any questions and inquiries regarding 305MUN IV, and she’s so excited to meet all of you during check-ins! She also loves meeting and talking to new people, so feel free to reach out to her at txe229@miami.edu.
